Advance Parol related question?

Hi GURUS,

I need to apply Advance parole for spouse. My understanding is there are places where we can get Advance parole on same day. My lawyer said that I need to file with vermount. It takes roughly 60 days to process. Spouse had EAD since last 5 months. Our case is also in the process. We need to travel somewhere in April. Can you guys help me with that? I am from NJ.Can I apply at Local Newark INS office? or Bostone local INS office? Any suggetion or Guidance.

Check with your local INS office if they will process it. In my case, the philly office processed it in one week. They also do same day processing for emergency reasons backed with some documentation.

INS Newark gives AP same day : If valid reason is shown

Hi Popat:

Newark INS office will issue AP same day, If a valid reason for urgency is shown. Like air tickets....prepare for whole day in terms of timing. I know of a case last week, took 8AM to 4 PM, but got same day (within 15days of India trip). 3 of 4 family members got GC. 4th member\'s case not approved, so AP was needed. Good Luck.
