Advance parol: How long it takes?

my I-485 app RD is 24-Oct-2001.
I did not apply for Advance.Parol because my lawyer
recommended not to
(reason he said was: reduce workload for INS so that everyone gets their gc faster!!)

Now I am planning to travel outside US november end.
If I apply now for A.P. When will I get it?
or should I apply at local INS office?
 
oh okay you can go to local INS office and request for AP , you will get it in 1-3 days otherwise if mail to INS office along with copy of 485 receipt it will take 7-15 days . but it is good go to local INS office

Are you sure AP only takes 1-3 days from local INS? In the other post with subject "AP Question", that guy was given RD for the AP and he is waiting for that.

If it takes 1-3 days for getting AP, its really cool. Anyway thanks for the response.

you go to go INS office to get this usually they issue on same day.
if you have proper documentation and papers
Because my case is approved with in 7 days from ND

VSC???

Can we send our AP application to VSC instead of standing in the long queue outside the regional service centers??

Anyone got approved from VSC recently please your experience
