Adoption for a Greencard

I have a family in America who is willing to adopt me for a greencard.
I am 19 at the moment, but since the legal age of an Adult is 21 over there am I able to get adopted and get a GC through some sort of process.

The main problem I seem to be having with migrating here is I have a family who is willing to treat me as their own blood, they'll pay everything for me yet I cant seem to actually get the actual Greencard.

To get a green card through adoption you need to have been adopted before your 16th birthday. You can't get a green card this way.
