Adoption and mysterious birth - does it delay N400

My wife was born in...

(oh how we hate to tell it)

... a country in which US troups are now busy ...

Don't you know she hates to show her GK! :(

But she is citizen of another country since international adoption at the age of 6.

Since she was found as an abandoned child - in war - nobody knew her real birthdate, and she was issued an birth certificate in Uzbekistan (location of Soviet Army HQ) at the age of 6.

She has her GC before 9/11.

Is that history going to affect her N400 application?

Any opinions?

I can't imagine anybody else is in this situation.

I dont think so. Did you sumbit the Uzbek birth certificate at the time of Green Card application?
Just speak the truth and I am sure she will be fine. Good luck.

Yes

Yes, we used the only BC she had - issued in UZ when she was 6.

I'm just wondering if in light of 9/11 things are getting more sticky. I probably worry too much. There's nothing I can do about it.

Thanks,
