Hello guys, I'm new here and would like to get some answers/hope if any one can and thanks in advance.
I filled in 06 I-130, I-485, I765 and got my EAD after the interview, however I had it expired and when I renewed it my case was administratively closed and i don't know why and when ever me and lawyer ask about the status we get the 45 days wait or 60 days infamous answer and nothing but the run around. Any way finally I made a Info-pass appointment and went there in LA and the IO said she doesn't know whats up with my case so she sent me up stairs for more reference and explained to me that once the case is administratively closed it stops your qualification to renew the EAD even my lawyer never told me about and i lost the filling fee $380.00, So I go upstairs and I met with a IO and explained to me that for some reason they lost contact for me and that what caused the case to be administratively closed however he told me to bring my spouse and new born child and come in couple of days and he will squeeze me in for an early interview that day, so we went along with the baby and all documents and pics we have as an evidence for our marriage that its not a sham, the interview went fine and I got my expired passport back that was held there for 4 yrs and I was told the case seems to be approved but he will have to update the system and gave me a signed letter to get back to him in 30 days if I didn't here from them, It only been 2 weeks but there is no update on the USCIS website yet it shows the same thing since 2006. And I'm so worried if this thing will never get approved Any help or hope guys will be greatly appreciated.
