administratively closed and check refunded

The case is follow to join spouse based on approved I-485 h1b.

We received FP notice and I-765 approval/EAD in March. Did FP in March. But the lawyer got a refunded check from USCIS. The lawyer called and was told the case is administratively closed due to ineligibility.

Is it because of the error on I-485 and I-765 about last arrival date. It was a future date... Just reviewed and found it out.

What should do next step? We have not received a notice yet and the online status in still acceptence.

Which check was refunded ... the I-485 check, the I-765 check, or both?

Was your priority date current when the I-485 was filed?

Thanks for the reply. My I765 was approved. My online status for I-485 is still acceptance. I did fingerprint on March 21st. My lawyer got the refunded check last Thursday. No reject notice or any information with the check. So my lawyer called USCIS and USCIS said it is administratively closed due to eligibility. My lawyer requested USCIS to send the reasons in 15 days. Really don't know when I will get it and don't know what can I do except waiting for USCIS to send me the reasons...

Don't know why they close the case and refund the check after such a long time.
