My parents went thr' consular processing. At the time of interview. medical was not complete. After the interview was done, they were given 221(g) and asked to submit the medical to VFS. I was assuming they are now through and once the consular gets the medical they will issue the immigrant visa.
But to my surprise, they reverted back with a new 221(g). It says "...case is still under administrative processing. We will contact u once it is complete....."
My question is is administrative processing same as "adminstrative check" or "Name check".?
How much time it will take to complete? its from mumbai consulate.
