For some people it has taken even upto 3 years in the past for AP, there is no telling how long will it take, there are about 23 different checks that the CO can order to grant a final approval, he/she may order one, two or however many depending upon applicants education, job history, age or simply because of a certain area of Pakistan they are living.
221(g) is very unpredictable, you can Google 221(g) in Pakistan or AP in Pakistan and read different experiences from people in AP in Pakistan.
