How long does it usually take for the AAO to decide on a case. I have a pending case with them which is more than a year old and still have not gotten an answer. I applied for an H1-new employment through premium processing and got denied, my lawyer appealed the case but the only letter we received is a transfer notice from PP to AAO. We didn't get a receipt notice from the AAO office. Am I suppose to get a new notice and get a new EAC # from AAO? My lawyer said that it takes a while but does it really take more than a year?
