I'm on H1B and my I-485 is still in process, finger prints where done last June. I just went back home and got married, now, we are prapring to have my wife get her H4 visa ready at the consular abroad in order to come to the US and then file the Adjustment of status...
But...
It would take about 1-2 months for her to get the H4 visa due to consular delays, what if my I-485 gets approved while issuing the H4 for my wife? should I at that time consider the follow-to-join option? how that works and how long does it take?
