Adjustment of status or Consular Processing in light of retrogression?

Dear all,

I received my EB-1 I-140 approval last week. I need to apply for either adjustment of status or consular processing. In light of the impending retrogression, what is the better option to choose?

Thanks.

Doesnt matter. Your priority date as on the LC has to be current for either process. My company lawyer says that its good to adjust the status in US as there is a chance to appeal if need be but I am not sure as they are paid by the company.

I think you have no time to apply for consular processing. you need an interview date and by that time september 30th will be over . If you can do, over next three days file 485. I have never applied for 485, I might be wrong but you do not have time. If you are from India and China do if fast. Medical examination is needed which takes few days. Do not go for it now. they may issue you RFE.
