Hi everyone!

I came to the USA as a J-1 and then changed my status to F-1. In this process my old I-94 was taken and changed to a new I-94 with new dates. However, it doesnt have the expriration date, it only says Valid for Duration of Status. A month ago I abandoned my studies and I think my status was terminated. To fill out the form I-485 how should i know the date of my i-94 expiration? Should I call anywhere?

And what should I write to the questions: Current status? (i thnik i am already out of status)

Thank all in advance for help.

You are posting on the wrong forum. This one is for citizenship.
Also, you need to give more details in order to get a meaningful answer e.g. on what grounds are you applying for AOS?
Finally, yes, if you suspended your studies, you are indeed out of status, that could mean nothing or it could mean a lot. Again, that depends on your AOS grounds. So post on the appropriate forum and you'll get a good answer from any of the very knowledgeable gurus.

As JMG1010 said, you are posting in the wrong forum.

Regarding the validity of D/S for F-1 students, this is quite a complicated question which depends on many factors specific to your college and to your particular situation.

E.g. what exactly do you mean by "I abandoned my studies"? Did you simply stop going to classes? Or did you fail to register for enough classes for the current semester to maintain full time student status? Did you fail to pay tuition for the current semester?

Also, it is important to know under which category you are applying for adjustment of status. For employment based I-485 applicants, there is rule 245(k) where you are allowed up to 179 days of being out of status before filing I-485, see
