This is the email I got from the USCIS!!! I am timid about the interview!!! Whats this whole fuzz about?
I had filed 140/485 concurrent at Vermont on Sep 22 2003. Lot of folks got their 485 approved without this whole hassle and detour!!

Please advice my friends~~~~ :(

On December 6, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register
Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in BALTIMORE, MD
for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take
several months. Our office in BALTIMORE, MD will notify you when they
schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need
further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at
(800) 375-5283.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case
status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or
advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please
contact the National Customer Service Center.

Hello ,
I guess this is the interview notice that one gets if they need to verify anything like address or employment change etc. There are some other members like ginnu, compass and many others (i understand from their posts on this thread) who have also got similar interview letters at baltimore. Please look them up.
Could you please tell when you got the email/postal letter and whether if your LUD's changed. Usually i understand from the members posts that they usually set up an infopass appointment with baltimore office and go there to talk to an Imm Officer whether or not your files have arrived etc..Please read other members' posts, it is very informative.

485 Interview

Thanks buddy! I don't understand LUD though neither my address nor my employer has changed since the day I filed my GC App.
As far as infopass - Isn't that correct that this pass is given after your 485 is approved? though I will look into it.
