Adjustment of status interview experience under section 245i?

Can anyone share his or her adjustment of status interview experience under section 245i?(FAMILY BASE) in details. Please provide timeline. Also what is the time frame between when you applied and recieved EAD and your AOS interview date? Section 245i was the law which allow some immigrant who were out of status or EWI to be inteview here in the state provided a petition was file for the individual before april 30,2001 and a penalty of 1,000 paid.
 
the interview was a complete disaster. we were asked repeatedly for approval of 245i, when we came in thinking that the interview was the basis for approval. she said she would get back to us.
