I was wondering if anyone knew about filing an adjustment of status. I just got married and I am filing papers for my husband. He currently has an H-1B (FL) and needs a regular work permit so that he can change jobs and come live with me. Has anyone ever asked for an expedited work permit? Are they apt to give them out? Does he also have to fill out an I-864 (Aff. of support). I don't make enough annually but if I add mt assets I reach the amount specified.
