Adjusting status of political asylum

I've been a permanent resident since January 2007. I've been married to a US citizen for 4 years. I would like to know if I qualify to apply to become a US citizen. USCIS' website is not clear regarding this. Everything I've read seems to point that I am eligible, but I would like to confirm.

What is the "resident since" date on your green card? Did you obtain your GC via asylum? Did your spouse become a US citizen at least 3 years ago?
