ADIT process required?

I did my PP stamp back in May and haven't received the physical card. I called the 1-800 number a couple of weeks ago and today I received a letter from USCIS stating "... The system indicates that ADIT process is required. Please go to your local BCIS offfice to complete the process...." Is this ADIT process is PP stamp process? Does this mean that the officer who did my PP stamp process messed up my paper work?

Any one has similar experience?

I have my pp stamped at Charlotte NC. My online message still says the case is approved.

Axim,

I am in a similar situation. Stamped on May 21'st @ Miami. No card yet.
Intiated an inquiry to TSC resulted in them saying that they never received the I-89/ADIT forms etc. from local office.

Can you share your approval date, stamped date.

Thanks,

Mine was approved on. 5/10 and I got pps on 5/14. I called the 1800 today and the agent really has no answer for me. When I asked her if I need to go to my local CIS office to do the ADIT process again. She just said yes.

I plan to visit my local CIS office again.

fl_2002,

Did you or will you visit your local CIS office?

Thanks.

Axim,

I am planning on going to the local CIS office tomorrow.
It sucks to do this and I don't know if they'll turn me away.

Lets hope for the best.

I do not know whether I should go to the same place as we went for stamping or fix an appt. to speak to an officer which in my case is in a location different from the stamping office.

what a mess !!

Lets keep communicating on this as it appears that we are on the same boat.

THanks.

fl_2002,

How was your trip to your local CIS office?

Did they redo the ADIT process for you again?

Thanks.

Axim,

Yes, I visited the office yesterday. The officer looked up my record and said that the reason we did not get our cards is because of a missing "classification" field in the computer. I believe this is the "COA" or class of admission field that can be seen in our 485 approval. Apparently the card production facility needs this to print the card. They sent the forms back due to this missing information. The local office sends these rejected I-89's to some place in TX and apparently it is sitting there for months without any action.
The problem is that the local office guys are unable to enter this information. It has to be someone at TSC.

We insisted on and did fill out another I-89, fingerprint execpt that he did not put a new stamp in the pp. He did say that there was no point in this as it would be rejected once again due to the missing field.

Due to this computer glitch, we are once again having nightmares and don't know if we'll ever get our cards.

I do not know if your's is the same problem. I would suggest you visit your local office and find out.

Hope this helps.

fl_2002,

That really sucks. Is your COA item in your approval notice left blank? Or the COA is filled in your approval notice buy somehow their computer doesn't have the info?

I just made an appointment in early September through infopass. That is the earliest appointment I can get.

Thanks for the info.
