Address verification

Ola All,
Got a question and thank you in advance for any responses.

I'm adding my recently wedded wife to my greencard application. I live in CA and she lives in the east coast. She has been living with her family in PA and that has always been her permanent address. She moved to New York about a year back. However for all communication purposes still has her PA address given to official documents (including drivers license).
For the greencard process I am wondering if it is alright to include her "permanent address"? Or does it have to be the address where she is currently living.
Thank you again!
Bob

What is the basis of the green card and the nature of the situation? Your employer filed for you, and you're adding her as a derivative? Or are you a US citizen? What is her current immigration status?

Why is she in NY? To study? She was sent there by her employer for a specific project, after which she'll return to PA? If the answer is NO to both questions, she probably should be listing NY as her primary residence, with a NY driver's license or state ID, and paying NY taxes as a resident.

I had to edit my earlier response....

Hi,
This is a greencard lottery which I won and am now adding her to it.
She works in New York (on a H1B). She currently lives and works in NY while keeping her permanent PA address. She is sent on assignments all around and lives in employer provided homes/living space. Currently she is working in NY.
Thank you,
Bob
