Address to use for AOS applications..

Hello, my wife and I are getting ready to fill out AOS paperwork... We live in a small town that is right on the border of Utah & Nevada called Wendover. We live just barely on the Nevada side of the border but we would like to go through the Salt Lake City (UT) INS office rather than the Reno (NV) office. The reason we want to go through Salt Lake City is that it is much closer to where we live (only 1 1/2 hours to Salt lake vs. 6 hours to Reno), plus we have heard stories that the process is much faster going through Salt Lake.

We are renting an apartment here in Wendover but I also own a house in Utah that I am renting out. My parents & all my family live in Utah, and we have a P.O. Box in Utah. Our driver's licences, etc. are all in Utah. We are wondering if it would be ok to use my parents address or my Utah house address or our Utah P.O. Box for the applications or if we should just go through the Reno office and do a lot more driving back & forth...

podliszka, if I were you I'd use the address where you reside, which is probably the address that almost all of your supporting evidence is in. Will you be showing bank accounts with your Wendover address? W-2s? Tax returns? Pay statements? Joint utility bills?

I don't think you should claim your parents' address or PO box address as your residence. If you own a house that you rent out, I also don't think it would qualify as your residence.
