Address in Passport for CP

Hi,
When my passport was made,my parents used to stay in a diff address than their current address. Do I need to change my address in the passport to reflect that?
Can the consulate officer raise question about my current permanent address (in india) being diff than the one in the passport?

Not just for the CP interview but for other purposes too just get it changed. It takes 1 day of process time plus 1 week of mailing back and forth. If you have not got the PCC then when you send your passport for PCC stamping get the permanent address change done then.

Huh! I got my passport renewed at Houston in May. The address on the same is US address, where I am staying. Is it going to be an issue when I go for CP interview?
