Address for plastic card

Is it okay to give a friends address for receiving the plastic card.
We are not sure where we will be in the next 2-3 months so wanted to give a friends address to receive the plastic cards..

I would not give anybody's address if I am not moving out for a couple of months. I would expect physical card within 2 months after I-551 stamping. It is a real pain to get another card if it is lost or something happens. Do not trust too much.
 
Yeh. I kind of agree with gcusa99. Even though I gave a different mailing address they sent the card to the old address. Stupid INS.
 
i asked the officer while stamping and she said they are fine with some address as long as you are sure you want to give that address and they will mail it to that address. They do not care if it is your friends or whatever.
