Address for N400. Used the wrong zipcode

Hello all.

By mistake the zipcode entered in the address column was wrong. It should have been 05479-9400. However by mistake we entered 05749-9000. Its been a week our payment checks have not cleared.....

I have the following choices:

1. Sit and wait till a month
2. Send in a new application
3. Contact USCIS and see if they have received my application

Please let me know.

I had a similar typo (for zip code) for both me and my wife. I did not notice it (until much later), but the interviewing officer noticed it (he was the first to notice) and called me on my cell (after the interview) on my way back. He corrected it for me. My wife took an infopass (after the interview) to correct her's. The funny thing was all the correspondence that had the wrong zipcode came through without any delay. It would depend on how serious the change is perceived at your Post office (getting your mails etc due to this). From an INS perspective you should be able to correct it either through the 1-800 line or by an infopass.
