Cat&Mouse: Uf tiger!!
They lied to you. You can request to talk to an immigration officer and once they transfer you, you can verify your address. I have done it 20 times, the reason being that i every time i talk to an immigration officer before giving my case details they ask for my RD, and EAC#. Then they ask me my address and tell me that's what the address they have on the database.
Secondly, your case is approved and that shouldn't be a problem. Also you should be able to talk to them since your RD was before current processing dates of Feb-02.
In the nutshell you'll just have to try to get some good person on 800# who'll let you talk to an immigration officer, otherwise you are hosed and there's no way to verify but to wait for their stupid notification for address change.
