Address change

I just sent off my application on the the 15th and they cashed my check on the 19th. The problem is that I changed addresses and the application has the new address. Will they send me the receipt notice at the old address? Or are they smart enough to read the application and realize that I changed my address?

Well I'd bet they are going to send the receive to whatever address you listed in your N-400 paperwork. Why would they send it anywhere else?

I would also imagine that the notice would be sent to the address specified on the N-400 application. On a separate note, in case you haven't, you should send in an AR-11 to complete the formality updating your A-file with the new address. The issue may come up only during the interview. But otherwise, you should be fine.
