address change

Hi:

I changed addresses and I am not sure if I filled a separate ar-11 for my wife or not.

My questions are:

1. Is there a phone number I can call to find out if I have done the address change?
2. What amends can I do if I have really forgotten?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot and regards

No.
File a new one. They actually suggest sending it via registered mail, so you have proof that you sent it.

If filing an AR-11 for the latest move establish the immunity
against s prosecution of all failures to file AR11
regarding previous moves, then is it OK to file AR-11
after 10 days of the move?

It does not make any sense.

It’s possible your AR-11 will be sitting in some storage facility unopened. If you don’t update it, you may get away with it. With current scrutiny on immigrants, it’s best to do it by the book. You’re best off if you send the AR-11 within the specified timeframe. However, sending it late is better than not sending it at all. As mentioned, the return receipt which you save will suffice as proof once the incompetent twits at CIS misplace your file and then ask you for its location.

Per JoeF, CIS said if you did AR-11 for your current address, then
it did not matter if you did AR11 fort old address. So all that you
need to do is to make another move. If you love your current
house or APT a lot, make a move and then move back
and file AR-11 within 10 days.
