Address change

Hi,
I have an issue with regards to getting mails from BCIS. I had given them a change of address in Dec. 03 and received confirmation from them. However, I have not yet received my FP2 notice directly. My lawyer sent it to us and we got the FP2 done.
I called up BCIS to find out if my address change has been noted. After nearly twenty minutes, I was connected to an Immigration Officer. The IO said that my lawyer will be receiving all notices for me, whereas my spouse will receive all her notices directly. My lawyer seems to disagree. The IO also confirmed that she had the changed address on file. I am confused and don't know what action to take now. Any suggestions ?

Almost similar issue with 2FP happened to me, BCIS sent me two notices for 2FP for myself but did not send anything for my spouse. I called lawyer and found out that she has my spouse 2FP notice.

Suggestion: Don't do anything, sit tight, wait and watch.

Just for information recently my friend give change of address. He was worried since he was expecting his EAD and AP. He called customer service gave them change of address. He got his I st FP notices to new address. But his EAD was sent to the old address. Mean while CIS called his home and told them that EAD was sent to address and asked him keep looking.

And then there is the case of one of my friends, who got a 2nd Green card last week, two years after receiving his first Green Card. They sent his 1st Green Card to an age-old address. Two years later, he got another green card. Apparently, their change of address system works on the cartoon character, Phantom's principle of transmitting messages. Thanks for your advice,
