Folks,
I filed my I140/485 Concurrent filing at Vermont Center on Jan. 31st, 2003 and I got my I140 Approved on August 21st, 2003 after 2 RFE's. (I will write in a seperate thread about my I140 RFE's and how I addressed those issues to BCIS to get approved). At present, I am based in Washington D.C. and I come under Vermont Service Center. I have done my fingerprinting on March 14th, 2003 and 485 processing is being started by VSC. Now, my question is:
(1) I am planning to relocate to Dallas, Texas but am not changing my company. The company is same, the job is same except the job location which is for different project. If I relocate to Dallas and inform BCIS about the address change, Will my 485 continue to be processed in Vermont and later on will be moved to Texas for Stamping/Interview process? OR
(2) Will My entire file be immediately sent to Texas Service Center and they will process my 485 from beginning?
If Option(2), then TSC takes lot of time to process and it will be atleast 2 years that I will get my 485 Approved. Shall I continue to keep my Apartment in Washington D.C. and try to temporarily relocate to Dallas OR Shall I move to Dallas permanently and continue my 485 there as my Dallas project is for long-term (2 years)
Can anyone of you guys/gals help me if you have any experience as I am facing.
Thanks,
LILUS
