Hi everyone
I just recently learned that my relatives whose mailing address I;m using for my citizenship papers are going to move.

I just received my Fingerprint appt. im going this friday. When should I change my address??? Because I know there is a certain wait time between correspondence. My relatives aren't moving before January 06

So do I change it after I receive my INterview letter? or now? or at the interview? I know it would be taking risk to wait for the interview letter since it takes little time for some and a lot for some other

I have had a lot of troubles with the USCIS before, Im afraid that changing my address will confuse the heck of them, since it takes pretty much nothing for them to decide to sit on your file :(

When does the file move to the district office? after the interview?? Im applying in texas which would be transfer in Miami but when does it happen??

Oh Also, the AR-11 ask for the old and the new address Which is the same, I just had a different mailing address do i just put twice the same address (the new the same as the old one)????

is the AR-11 required for just a change of MAILING address

Oh and the addresses are all in the same city, so im not changing district or anything

Thanks in advance

Change it now. Print and fill out an AR-11. Send it to USCIS via Certified Mail and return Mail reciept.

ALSO call the 1-800 National Customer # and inform them of the change of your Address since you have a case pending.

It is important that you do both.

By the way if the Mailing Address is the same (old and new) why change it ? I am a little confused by that.

It is always required to let USCIS know when there is any kind of change in your address.

The actual address is not changing. only the MAILING address is changing. Im not moving only changing my mailing address. I guess I'll just enclosed a letter with the AR-11

Thanks for responding
