Address confusion scare.

I moved out of my old address to a permanent address and a temporary address (3 month project).

I changed my address online (both AR-11 and pending application) to my new PERMANENT address. However I have the mail forward service with the post office to the TEMPORARY address.

The aim was to have all my USCIS mail go to the permanent address but have all my other mail come to the temporary address.

Unfortunately the biometric mail from USCIS came before I updated the address on the USCIS website - so it got to the forwarding to TEMPORARY address.

The problem is all USCIS biometric notices are "return service requested" - so its going to go back to TSC with the information that I moved to the temporary address however their system shows my new permanent address.

My concern is not missing the biometric appointment as I got my attorney's copy of the biometric appointment notice - so I have no problem showing up for the biometric appointment.

However my concern is that they may issue an RFE because the mail got returned to them with my TEMPORARY address on it which is a conflict with the address on their file.

What do you think TSC will do in this situation? What should I do to salvage this situation. any insight is highly appreciated.

You can not have mail forward address to post office. Instead you might have changed addresses as many times as you move. A friend of mine who stayed in a hotel for 1 month updated USCIS by calling.

Did you check your attorney if got a copy ?

I believe you can call USCIS to change address immediately and can request them to send notice again to new address (You have 30 day immunity). If you supect that earlier scheduled dates, you may want to postpone too by talking to them.
