address change issue

I filed my 485 from CSC. At the time of filing I was residing in CA,
but recently I moved to NY. I have not yet reported the address
change to INS. If I report a change of address to the INS will my
case be moved to VSC ? If yes, does VSC care abt the RD/ND of
CSC ? Do not know what to do at this point, after reading the
news abt the deportation case for not changing the address ?
Has anyone been in a similar situation ?

if i were in your situation...

i would report the change of address to INS regardless of what happens to the processing of my case, since the overriding concern for me would always be to avoid being in violation of any immigration regulation. while the report out of atlanta might be an extreme case, why take a chance?

I moved from Connecticut to Texas, I called VSC and informed change of address, even though it may result in delays for my case.
