Address Change issue for I-485

I am moving to a new place to take a new job, while I-485 for my wife and myself are pending at NSC.

At the new place, I'll stay in a temporaray place (such as a hotel) for a month or two before signing an apartment lease, at the same time my wife is still working and staying in the old place (where our house is located).

My question is that whether I should submit AR11 form for address change from my old residence to a hotel, and then another AR11 for change from a hotel to an apartment.

We know USCIS behaves beyond your imagination, and I don't want to make address change to our pending I-485, since we still keep our house at the old place. I wonder if I send so many AR11 then it may end up letting USCIS send mails in error to the hotel address maybe?

Do you think I am worried about too much? Should I skip the AR11 for my month-long hotel-stay?

Thanks.

I do not think you should send AR-11 form for your month long hotel stay.
I am not attorney so it is better to contact your attorney about this. My opinion does not hold any legal value.

Dont give Hotel Address. Once you finalize the place then only change your address on pending applications

Why change address at all if you are keeping your old residence ? and giving a hotel address is something that just does not sound right.

If I were you, I would not submit any change of address; especially since your PD is current.

Thanks for all the responses.

I am just reading at the AR11 requirements and want to be cautious, that's why I raised the question. As the law doesn't say how long your stay in a new place requires you to submit the AR11.

For example, if I am a contractor and often hop from one place to another with two-month intervals. Then by law I need submit AR11 6 times a year. Does this sound reasonal? Probably yes to USCIS, because they want to keep track of you.

Anyway, I just want to get opinions from people and be cautious.

it is really no big deal if your wife is staying at the old place. You are effectively maintaining the old residence. What you are doing right now is qualified as temporary travel. Until and unless you move your whole family to NY, there is no need to file AR11. Doing it now, only adds to the confusion.
