Address Change in MD within same VSC

Hi,

I am wondering if I am moving within the same Support Center (Vermont SC) and same Local Field Office (Baltimore, MD), do I have to establish 3 months residency in the new location? I am just moving within MD. And what about the AR-11? I have not yet turned in my N-400 application but would like to know if I need to meet the 3 months residency prior to filing? Or it does not matter because they are sending to the same VSC?

Thanks a lot.

As long as your Service Center remains the same, you do not need to be living three months at your new location. It is only a problem if you moved to a state that was being serviced by a different Service Center.

You still need to turn in an AR-11 and call USCIS to update your address, but there will be no significant impact to your timeline as you are already a resident within the district.

As long as you are in the same district, your application won't be on hold for three months.

It would be different if you changed District Office (even withiin the same Service Center) for exampl if you moved to Pennsylvania or Vermont.

DO matters, even if you move within same Service center, if DO changes it matters. In this case he/she is moving within same Service center and same DO, then its ok.

So Boatbod, I should submit AR-11 with N-400 or should I send in AR-11 prior to sending the application?

Anyone knows?

Thx.
