Hey Guys,

I have an 140 and 485 pending at VSC. What is the process of making a change of address?

I had called BCIS and they asked me for my 140 EAC number and then she said that she had changed something i was set to go. All i had to do was to fill in and send a AR11 form.

I have heard someone on this forum say that we had to send a separate form to VSC but there are no details.

Can someone please let me know what are the real facts.

Thanks,

Call the number listed in your receipt and let them know that your address has changed. They will ask you for your alien number to do that.

You have to fill in the AR-11 form and send it to the state department. Remeber that the AR-11 form has nothing to do with your immigration process. These are 2 different things. Not submitting the AR-11 form can land you in trouble. Send the form in a registered mail with a return reciept and keep the return receipt with you once you get it back for proof.

AR-11

In my case, I sent AR-11 forms to US Dept of Justice as well as VSC.
But I read in this protal that VSC will ask me to put the request change through the lawyer. I havenot heard that yet from VSC.

same case

I was in the same position about 6 months ago. I called them(VSC) up and gave them my new address and they sent my EAD to the new adress. Had no problem at all except the fact that it takes a while to get to an operator in VSC.

i140/i485

Consider you are the benificiary and lawyer is the applicant.

If change of address is for i140 then ur applicant should sent a mail to vemont bcis.
If it is i485/ead the u can send a mail to bcis vermont.

Peter.
