Address Change from TSC to NSC

I have already submitted my I-485 to TSC in April. I received my receipt in June. However, my company transferred me from South Carolina to headquarters in Michigan. I have the same job position and boss. I was wondering if I should do the forward address change, from TSC to NSC and if there are any risk losing my file in transit. How big of a risk is there in losing my file. Has anyone been in this position, or lost their file.
If I do the forward address change, how do I track this. I\'m afraid TSC will say they sent it and NSC say they haven\'t received the file. Is there an option of doing nothing and hope the post office will forward my letter to my current address?

hi

I am in the same boat. The good thing about complete transfer is that you will have your papers processed faster than TSC. Loosing on transit is a possibility and be careful with this choice. INS transfers all your papers that you filed so far to the new processing center. Loosing anything here is pretty scary. Ask your company to keep u in the current region payroll and apply for a local change of address. Get someones opinion. I am also looking for ideas
