Hi,
I am new to this forum.I need some advice regarding filling FORM-AR11.
There is column in AR11 FORM -- current INS status and expires on
We have filed 485 at TSC. My husband is on H1 with same company which filed his GC. .but they have not filed H4 for me according to lawyers suggestion. My husband has his valid H1and EXPIRY DATE.according to his H1 approval notice. But, my H4 is not filed and I had H4 with his previous company which is expired by feb 2004.

1) what should be MY STATUS ? Is it H4, with my previous H4 expiry date feb 2004 or pending 485 .
2) Is it better to write current INS status -pending 485 for both my husband and my self.or write separately H1 and H4 with expiry dates.

Any feedback is appreciated.
. current INS status expires on expires on current INS status

its little incomplete thing pls write always in detail

here I assumed

if you filled ur 485 in AR-11 ur status is 485 pending
if He filled his 485 his 485 pending too

once u filled 485 its mean u r on 485

what u wrote is little confusing... about who is principal applicant and who is depending???... did u both fillled 485 or he alone or u alone...

Good LUck

Thanks for quick response. My husband is principal applicant and Iam his dependant/beneficiary.so, I am assuming that current INS status is 485 -pending for both of us, instead of mentioning H1 and H4 STATUS and expiry dates, as my H4 is already expired Please correct if Iam wrong.

Revathy,

Your husband can still retain his H1 even if you are in I-485 pending status. Expiry of your H4 will not matter since you already have a pending I-485 application (be it as a dependent).

So the status would be,

Husband - H1 status
You - I485 pending

Hope that helps.
