Address change during Labour?

Hi there,
I filed my GC in NY state and my priority date is March 2003. it is in NON RIR basis. So, i think my file is not even been opened.
Is it okay if i change my home (Address)? i am planning to move to a different building in the same appartment complex. Is it okay to do it without involving INS (USICS). Or do they have to know about this? Is it going to cause any delay in my GC processing? Please Advice?

You can move / change address where ever you like.. There are no restrictions on moving while your LC/GC is in process as long as the employer is sponsering you for the same position & you work in the same field.

You need not inform Dept of Labor as LC is employers property not employees.. DOL does not do any communication with you.

You have to inform USCIS by filing AR-11 as it is mandatory to update your address with USCIS whenever you move for every Non Citizen. Even after you get your GC you need to update your address with USCIS

Thanks gp111

If i understood correct, i can change my address at this point and that is not going to delay my GC.
So, i don't need to infom the USICS about my address change just for the GC/ labour.

But i DO need to inform USICS because that is kind of law or something?

Thanks

YES, Address Change will not delay your Labor. Labor is processed by DOL not USCIS. You do not need to inform DOL about Address Change.

Since you are on Non Immigrant Visa (h1, L1 etc..), you have to update your address in USCIS records by filing AR-11 within 10 days of your move.(http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/files/ar-11.pdf). Yes, its Law.
