Address Change during I-485 process

Hi friends,

Would like to know if there is any problem in changing home address during I-485 process.
And in this case should one inform the INS and the attorney\'s office about the new home address?

I informed my attorney who then called the INS to change the address.

I have the same situation.
My attorney told me to arrange for the mail forwarding at the post office and not to worry about it for the moment.
 
Be aware of mail forwarding!!!!!!!!!!!

The US postal service does NOT forward INS mail. It also does not forward other sensitive mail like a call for Jury duty etc. Check out with your local post office.

I specifically asked the postal worker if they would forward important government mail and he confirmed that they would, as this mail is sent first class. They do not forward third class mail, that\'s what he told me. If you have more reliable sources I would appreciate if you could share this info with us.
