Address change before receiving EAD/AP!

Will the mail be forwarded if I give a mail forwarding adreess!
Please help if anybody has gone through this.

Some time back there was a discussion abt this topic
and some one told that post office will forward ur
EAD/AP to the new address if u give them the new
address. Don\'t worry too much.

Keep your old Postoffice informed

Our EAD and AP got forwarded last week. Mostly i think because i had personally called the postoffice guys and requested them to forward all the mails.

Are you sure?? Why they are not forwarded, though all other mails are forwarded??

Some mails...............

Some mails like a call for jury duty, INS mails and other important documents are NOT forwarded. I don\'t know the exact reason. May be because those documents are very important and hence should fall into the right hands.

I tried many times to call INS but not able to go through..

I tried the no 802-527-4913.
Is there any other number or method to update the addreess with INS??
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Why not use a permanent address at the beginning?

I am going to file my 485, 131 and 765. Is it OK to use a friend address which will not change in the perceivable future?

altoid, my EAD/AP approval got forwarded

I had moved after filing for the above, and I had given a \'change of address\' notice to my post office. The approvals had the old address, and the post office did forward them to my new address.

The approvals came by regular mail.
