Address change before filing N-400

Hello, I move out to Baltimore 7 months ago and am about to mail in my application for naturalization. However, while doing the paperwork I discovered that green card holders who move need to change their address with BCIS. Has anyone applied for citizenship without having changed their address successfully? I could send in the form to change my address, but I don't want it to alert BCIS and have them fine me when they look at my N-400. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks.

By law GC holders are required to report any change of address within 10 days of moving. The offense is deportation. But that law is not fully enforce except in certain situations. You dont have to worry about anything. Just go ahead and fill out form ar 11 and also call the national service call center to report it also. Put your new address on your n400 and mail it. No problem

Remember I am a lawyer and it always pays to consult with an attorney
