Address Change After Filing 485

I filed my 485 at Vermont Center, receipt date April 2000. I currently live and work in Northern Virginia and got my labor certificate from the State of Virginia. I am planning on moving to Maryland in the next 2 months but will still work with the same company in Virginia. Its not a big deal since I am moving only 10 minutes away (anyone familiar with Washington DC Metro Area will understand).

My question is -- how does this affect my 485 filing, I haven\'t received a notice for fingerprinting yet? Can I change my address without too much hassle if it involves a change of state?

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

You need to call INS and wait over the phone.
Once you get the IIO on Phone its fairly straightforward.
Change of state doe not matter as long as you are working for
same company and still fall under VSC jurisdiction.

So you are saying, I just need to call INS and tell them about the change. The processing time etc. is not a function of the state, is it? It should not delay my processing, correct?
