Address and N-400

How can I make sure USCIS has my current address? I am sure I have updated my address when I moved 5 years ago. N-400 says the address in application has to match with the address in USCIS database, otherwise application will be delayed and uscis may not respond at all.
Does it hurt if I update my address now?
Please advice..

Can you point to a place in the N-400 application that says that? Also, to ensure that USCIS has your most recent address, be sure to file form AR-11 (you can do so online) every time you move.
 
Call USCIS at 800 number , option 1-2-3 and update the adddress and also file AR-11 online and take a print out of the filled form as a proof.
