It says paste 1 photo on each Part A.
Then it says additionals photo may be stapled.

Should be staple it to Part A or Part B and where should we staple?

If not, can we just use the paper clip to attach 3 photos?


Also Do we need to enclose an self addressed envelope so that the consulate can mail in the acknowledgement?

It'll help if you mention in your post which consulate you are applying to. Some application details vary from consulate to consulate.

The Chicago consulate website has very clear instructions re. photographs - http://chicago.indianconsulate.com/Dual Citizenship.htm#Photographs:

A total of five photographs, 3.5 cms X 3.5 cms each, are required for each application. One each to be pasted (not stappled) on application forms (original and duplicate) and remaining three to be attached as additional photographs. Please ensure to attach these additional photographs with the first copy of respective application(s) and not in a bunch with the application of first applicant when applying as a group of family. The specimen and specifications are given below:
