additional job/income on EAD

I have my EAD card based upon employment green card processing, which is currently retrogressed. I am wondering if it is legal/okay/advisable to work a 2nd job or freelance for additional income. Primary compensation would still be from my primary job. Please advice.

Yes, just be careful if you plan to maintain H-1B at the same time.
