Well this is a very tricky situation and it seems someone at my lawyers side has goofed up. Let me explain my case. I had applied for GC to be done thru CP. After I got my Labour Approval my lawyer asked me to fill up a questionnaire tht has all the information required to file the I140 application. Now when they filed the application they forgot to add my wife's name. Now I received documents from NVC saying that I need to pay a fee of $335 for myself but then there was no menton of my wife's fee. This was obvious as my wife name was not added by my lawyer in the application form itself. Now my lawyer has asked to send them my marriage certificate & my wife's Birth Certificate. I think so they will reach the lawyer by this weekend.
So now the Question that I want ot ask is by what time will the processing get delayed now? Will the NVC take very long time to add my wife's name to my appllication. How much time will they take for this. I think so my applicaiton was filed either with Nebraska / Vermont. What happens after I send the fees to NVC? what are the steps that they do in order for the Mumbai consulate to send me the appointment date.
Also if anyone can help me to know what all Medical Tests needs to be done during the CP. My wife is pregnant and she cannot take all kind of shots / vaccination. Will this delay her CP or will it be done along with me.
Please some one help me with this answers.
