Adding wife to 485 (after dates retrogressed)

Hello,


This is regarding a friend of mine. His 485 was filed before the dates were retrogressed. He even completed his finger prints twice, but he got married after the dates were retrogressed, his wife is on H4 and he is wondering if he can add his to 485. I believe his lawyer is saying, he can not add until the dates are current again. His Eb3's PD is sometime in 2001...


Any suggestions are appreciated.

No, he cannot do it,
I'm also in same situation, I tried by sending the form, but USCIS returned the application saying my PD is not current.
