Adding my wife to I-485 after Finger Printing *** Please Advise ***

Hello all,

I got married last week 07th Sep. My wife would be joining me on 18th Sep. The issue is that my Finger Printing Appointment date is 21st Sep.

1) I would like to know whether I should go ahead with my Finger Printing on 21st Sep or Reschedule. My lawyer says that he is going to file my wifes I-485 ASAP and that I should go ahead with my Finger Printing.

2) Also does it make the processing faster(for my wifes I-485) if we both get Finger Printed together?

3) I hope there will be no problem in adding my wife to my case if I get Finger Printed on 21st Sep.

Please advise.

Your are fine. Don't get tensed up.

IMHO, u'r in a very good situation. Go ahead and get u'r FP done.

I am not sure if u get the FP done before u'r wife, there will be a delay in her case.

I think yes but we never know( after all it is INS ). Also it is not a big issue if u get a GC few weeks before or after as long as u get it.
