Hi I have just got my I140 approved. Filling was I140 & I485 concurrently. I am planning to change to CP.
1. If I apply for I824 does it mean I am abandoning AOS?
2. With AOS I know you can amend your I485 and have your spouse added. What about CP? What is the process?
3. ACI140 can it be used by the fact that I485 is an excruciatingly long process?
4. I was a resident of India, my husband is Indian based on the fact that I was born in Mumbai, India and my husband is Indian (from Mumbai) could I apply in Mumbai, India for CP or can I choose another country like Canada (closer to home) since there is no US Embassy in the country of my citizenship?
