Addendum to an I-140 for for porting priority date

1. I have an I-140 approved from my previous company with a priority date in 2004
2. Its been about a year or so after I left my previous company and I don't know if they will revoke and substitute the labor for someone else in the future (till now they have not touched it to my knowledge)
3. When I applied for my I-140 in my new company, I was not aware that I could port my priority date by submitting the approved I-140 from my previous company.
4. So I have an approved I-140 from my new company with a priority date in 2006 and an approved I-140 from previous company with a priority date in 2004
5. I want to somehow be able to submit both and get the old priority date onto the new I-140. Is there an addendum procedure to the I-140 that can used to do this ? If so can someone send me pointers as to how to do this ?
6. The reason I want to do this is because I believe once I get the priority date onto my new I-140, that sticks with me irrespective of what happens to my old I-140
7. The alternative is to submit both the old and the new I-140 when my old priority date becomes current. That has a drawback in that between now and when my old priority date becomes current if my old company revokes the I-140 and substitutes the labor for someone else, I wont be able to retain my priority date

Any suggestions in this case is deeply appreciated,
Thanks

All I-140 applications are associated with a LC. However, the priority date issue will arise when you file for I-485. As long as your previous employer didn't revoked the I-140, you may use the earlier PD. This is what I understood from previous posts.

Others please feel free to add here.
