HELLO ALL!!

I think All of us should seriously take actions NOW NOW to fight with INS. It has been a long time people talking around, but I really want to pull the effort together!!

check out this thread for more discussions:

We've gathered some steams, but ACTIONS ACTIONS PLEASE!

I have created a Yahoo group, because it's a much more direct communication than posts here - not everyone remembers to check the posts here everyday. Also everyone is anonymous here - can we at least have direct emails to communicate with one another??

Please join me in the group. I will summarize the action items to take in a short minute.

whorlquote1,

I totally appreciate your actions and I would like to join you in our fight against INS slow processing of I-140.

My concern is that why couldn't we use the postings in this forum instead of going to yahoo groups. We have so much useful information available here. We can also seek assistance of experienced people like Kashimir, Sillyman .. etc.

Doing posting in this forum does not look any different than comm. with emails. We have lot of people browsing this forum. There are total of 70,000 people browsing this forum.

My advice is to keep the process simple. Lets use this forum and start our fight.

Thanks

I have discovered several forums that have similar interests:

http://murthyforum.atinfopop.com/4/OpenTopic

http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=34

http://www.visapro.com/Message-Board/index.php?

http://forum.path2usa.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=14

What we need to do it to gather as many people having the same concern as possible. Each of us then take actions to voice our concerns .... the problems of using this forum as a communication platform are:

1) most people check emails everyday, but they don't check this forum everyday.

2) Taking actions require time and effort. Emails are always a more effective/intrusive way to remind people!! If they forget to stop by this forum, they won't forget checking emails!

Any suggestions??

whorl1quote,

I understand your concern that we need to come to this forum everyday, and we check our emails everyday.

I am not sure how many times you come to this forum, but I make a point to come to this forum at least 2 times a day as people post so much useful info.

Anyway, please post your ideas against the fight aaginst USCIS in this forum too so that many other people can join you in fight.

Thanks,
-Honeybee

Guys,

It had been a very gruesome ordeal, but I finally got my I-140 and I-485 approved yesterday. (Yes, concurrent approval).
I am sorry i wont be able to join your list to appeal, but I shall be with you in spirit. I wish you lots of luck to get your cases approved, but bottomline is to not give up hope. Do whatever you can to can your cases approved and with God on your side, I hope you will get the pot of gold one day.
I will be visiting this site more often at least to advise some of you on the best course of actions (i am not a lawyer, but at least my ordeal can benefit someone to think ahead of time at least)
For now, I am taking this entire week off.

Details:
Labor initiated: April 2000
Labor filed: August 2001
Labor approved: May 2003
I-140 applied: May 2003
I-485 applied: July 2003
(EAD in possesion, but never worked on EAD, we used H1 instead)
I-140 first RFE: sent/replied in May 2004 (RFE was for W-2s and company bonafide letter)
(And two and a half months later both I-140 and I-485 were approved)
Waiting for the stamp and official card.

God Bless you all....(And some of you I'm sure will get your cases approved within days)
