Acquisition.....help.

My company A got Acquired by another company B and I am in the 485 stage 1 year and 9 months, got my first fingerprint done 8 months ago. I am on my 2nd EAD/AP, I have already applied for my 3rd EAD with company A. My job responsibilities have not changed.

1) Do I have to apply my EAD/AP with company B ?
2) Will my I-485 process go smooth, do I have anything?

I have a similar situation like yours. For me it is 4th Acquisition/merger! When I asked a Lawyer [Not my company lawyer] on this, he said we don't need to worry about this. When a company is acquired, the company which buys, signs a document called Succession Of Interest which includes all the existing cases/litigation from previous company. Lawyer said that by signing this doc, company B agrees to continue your case from your previous company A. Even if we get RFE, our current employer will have to provide a copy of this Succ. of Int Doc.

After the last merger, my current employer asked me about my status and since I am working on EAD, he asked for I-9 from me.

This is my two cents. But it would be better to consult a lawyer to understand better on an individual basis.
